What is Art Therapy?

Art therapy is a form of expressive therapy that uses the creative process of making art to improve mental, emotional, and psychological well-being. It is often facilitated by trained art therapists who help individuals explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences through various art forms, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and more. Art therapy can be beneficial for individuals dealing with a wide range of issues, including stress, trauma, anxiety, and depression, by providing a non-verbal and creative outlet for self-expression and healing.
